With a slim yet comfortable cut, every Jacques Britt shirt guarantees the highest degree of wearing comfort. The finest cotton fabrics from Italian mills, high-quality buttons and highest manufacturing standards make the difference in every shirt. A high stitch density with seven stitches per cm ensure that the shirts are hard wearing.

Jacques Britt uses real “mother of pearl” buttons. Each button is sewn on criss-cross to ensure they remain intact. The last buttonhole is horizontal, to avoid the shirt opening unintentionally. To quote the design team, “A man should feel how luxurious his shirt is with every movement he makes.”

Jacques Britt Internationale Moden GmbH was founded in 1969. The company’s goal was to create luxurious shirts for the demanding male – planning for an international consumer. An international brand name was created for this reason: blending the French “Jacques“ and the English “Britt“.

With its 38-year-old history the makers of Jacques Britt have years of shirt know-how. As an associated company of the Seidensticker Group in Bielefeld, it is one of Europe’s largest shirt producers, producing shirts for many global brands. It was Gerd Seidensticker personally who created the brand Jacques Britt and thus fashioned the “Mastershirt“
